Querying
Query history
Every Scan, Query and SQL statement you execute is recorded locally. Reload any of the last 50 with one click, straight into the current tab.
The Recent Queries panel
Click 🕒 in the toolbar to toggle the Recent Queries panel. Each entry shows a type badge, the table it ran against, a snippet and the time.
| Type | Snippet |
|---|---|
| scan | The filter expression, or “(All items)” when none was set |
| query | “PK: <value>”, plus “| SK filter active” when a sort-key condition was used |
| sql | The PartiQL statement |
Reusing a query
Click an entry. DynamoOps switches the Filters panel to the matching mode and fills every field: the partition key value, index and sort-key operator for a Query; the expression and both JSON maps for a Scan; the statement for SQL. A toast confirms “Loaded query for <table>”. Press Execute to run it.
Loads into the current tab
History entries are loaded into the tab you have open, even if they were recorded against a different table. Check the table name in the entry before executing.Limits and storage
- The last 50 executions are kept, newest first. Re-running an identical query moves it to the top instead of duplicating it.
- Only fresh executions are recorded; moving between pages is not.
- History is stored locally and shared across tables, connections and app restarts.
- Clear All removes everything after a confirmation.
